USEC beats radioactive swords into enriched uranium plowshares. The company processes used uranium -- about half of which comes from old Russian atomic warheads -- into enriched uranium, which it then supplies for commercial nuclear power plants. USEC is the radioactive recycler of choice for the "Megatons-to-Megawatts" program, a US-Russian agreement to convert uranium from warheads into nuclear fuel. USEC also processes uranium for the US Department of Energy.
