Canadian subsidiary, Trident Exploration, is that country's largest coal bed methane company. Trident Resources controls two significant beds (Mannville and Horseshoe Canyon) in Alberta and a shale gas play in British Columbia. Land holdings (Canada and Northwestern US) total more than a 1.3 million acres. The company has estimated proved reserves of 394.9 billion cu. ft. of natural gas equivalent.
