Members post listings for jobs, housing, events, and merchandise, as well as recommendations for local favorite places and services. Tribe Networks serves more than 50 metropolitan markets. Entrepreneur Mark Pincus founded the company in 2003. Original investors include Mayfield, The Washington Post , and Knight-Ridder (which was purchased by McClatchy in 2006).
