When you need an ambulance or a fire truck, TriTech doesn't want you waiting any longer than necessary for help to find you. TriTech Software Systems provides computer-aided dispatch software and systems to help public safety personnel -- emergency medical technicians, firefighters, and police officers -- quickly find the site of the emergency and map out the quickest route to an emergency room or trauma center. The company's software also enables data sharing between public safety personnel, so the dispatcher at the police station has the same information as the officer in the car. In 2011 the company acquired VisionAIR, a provider of public safety and criminal justice software.
