The company manufactures plastic film products such as liners and backsheets used in diapers, feminine-hygiene products, surgical masks, permeable ground covers, and cheesecloth. Tredegar's aluminum extrusion businesses produce soft-alloy extrusions that other manufacturers turn into finished products, including building materials and furniture. Film-product customer Procter & Gamble accounts for about a third of all of Tredegar's sales.
