The films made by Transilwrap Company may not get any Oscars, but they do get rave reviews. The company manufactures and converts plastics for the laminating, printing, and specialty packaging industries. Transilwrap produces its plastic films and sheeting from its nine manufacturing sites throughout the US and Canada. The founding Minkus and Drower families had owned most of the company until a management buy-out in 2004. And then, three years later, private investment firm Nicolet Partners acquired a stake in Transilwrap as management was looking for a partner to help it grow.
