The company acquires, develops, and owns income-producing commercial and residential real estate, particularly properties that it believes are undervalued. Its portfolio consists nearly 60 apartment complexes with more than 11,000 units in the southern US, in addition to about 5 million sq.ft. of rentable commercial space, including nearly 20 office buildings, six industrial properties, and three retail properties. Texas is its largest market by far. Additionally, the company has investments in apartment projects under development and almost 7,000 acres of undeveloped and partially developed land, most of it also in Texas.
