Company Description
Tournigan Energy is developing uranium in Slovakia. The company owns several uranium properties in Slovakia, with the Kuriskova project closest to production. It had been focused on gold production, but agreed to sell its Kremnica gold property, which has been mined since the Middle Ages and contains an estimated 675,000 ounces of gold, in 2010. Indicating its interest in making the development of Kuriskova its priority, the company changed its name from Tournigan Gold in 2008. The next year the company sold its US urnaium assets to Fischer-Watt Gold.
