The company purchases pharmaceuticals, medical and hygienic materials, and medical devices from nearly 1,000 manufacturers in Japan and beyond. Toho Pharmaceutical also provides customers with management consulting, human resource development, and site management organization consulting. The company acquired fellow Japanese wholesaler Asucome in 2010 and made it a subsidiary.
