As the world's largest ticket retailer, the firm sells nearly 120 million event and sports tickets a year from some 6,700 retail and about 20 telephone centers worldwide, as well as on the Web through ticketmaster.com. Its 10,000 clients include concert venues, museums, and legit theaters. Most of Ticketmaster's revenue comes from fees it adds to the face value of tickets. Ticketmaster was formerly a subsidiary of Internet conglomerate IAC/InterActiveCorp (IAC). In 2008 IAC split into five companies; Ticketmaster is one of the five.
