Thomas Walker Global (TW) walks two lines. Its oldest business line, clothing fasteners, has manufactured and distributed fasteners to the apparel industry for more than a century. Products include the brace fittings, buckles, and hook-and-bar fasteners used in making clothing, as well as the machinery to attach the hardware. TW also supplies an identity accessory line, such as wallet inserts, lanyards, and retractable badge reels for use in security and access control. It sells worldwide via a network of distributors. The global economic recession dented sales for the company and its subsidiaries, three of which were eventually liquidated.
