What do you get when you combine the nation's largest technology trade association with the leading information technology and electronics industry association? The answer is The Technology Association of America (aka TechAmerica), created by the 2009 merger of the American Electronics Association (AeA) with the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA), in a bid to form a more powerful federal lobbying organization. The newly-formed organization represents about 1,500 member companies, advocates on technology issues, and provides networking and other business services to its constituents.
