Its sounds a bit like a fit subway system, but MetroHealth System's services are of the medical variety. At the center of the system is MetroHealth Medical Center, an acute care hospital that serves as a teaching affiliate for Case Western Reserve University. The hospital's services include oncology, behavioral health, vascular care, orthopedics, burn care, and pediatrics. The system also operates outpatient clinics Greater Cleveland, as well as long-term care facilities, a regional rehabilitative clinic, and a medical helicopter program. MetroHealth employs more than 400 physicians in a variety of fields. The health system is owned by Ohio's Cuyahoga County.
