Lamson & Sessions channels its energies into a diversified mix of thermoplastic and electrical products. Thomas & Betts (T&B) acquired Lamson & Sessions in November 2007 for about $450 million in cash. T&B incorporated the Lamson & Sessions' Carlon unit (watertight conduit, non-metallic outlet and switch boxes, fittings, and electrical contracting products for utility and telecommunications industries) and the Lamson Home Products subsidiary (light dimmers, door chimes, and electrical fittings) with T&B operations.
