The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) is a watchdog for, well, watchdogs, along with all sorts of other domestic and wild animals. A leading animal protection organization, HSUS has more than 10.5 million human members and constituents. The organization supports the work of local humane societies and implements a variety of investigative, educational, advocacy, and legislative programs to promote animal welfare.
