Golub operates more than 125 Price Chopper supermarkets in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, upstate New York, northeastern Pennsylvania, and Vermont. Brothers Bill and Ben Golub founded the company in 1932. Today the Golub family runs the company and owns 45% of the regional grocery chain; employees own slightly more than 50%.
