The clothing retailer operates more than 920 Children's Place stores, primarily in malls and outlet centers throughout North America. It also sells apparel online. The Children's Place outfits children from newborn to 14 years old in its own brand of apparel and accessories, most of which is produced by manufacturers in Asia. In 2008 the retailer exited the Disney Stores retail business (30% of sales), which it obtained from The Walt Disney Company in 2004.
