Thais talk to each other through TOT. The state-run company, also known as Telephone Organization of Thailand, provides local telephone service and domestic long-distance to consumers and businesses throughout the country. It also provides wireless service under such brands as Cellular 470 and Thai Mobile (a 57%-owned joint venture with CAT Telecom). TOT also offers broadband Internet access and operates public telephones.
