The wireless subsidiary of Germany's Deutsche Telekom teamed up in July 2010 with France Telecom's wireless brand, Orange, to form a 50:50 joint venture called Everything Everywhere. With T-Mobile (UK)'s 13 million subscribers and Orange's 17 million, Everything Everywhere is now the largest wireless provider in the UK. The brand T-Mobile isn't going anywhere; it still offers voice and data services, and subscribers benefit from the ability to access either T-Mobile's or Orange's wireless network for better coverage. T-Mobile (UK) sells its phones and plans both online and through about 300 retail shops throughout the UK.
