Company Description
Swiss Reinsurance is filling any holes it can find in the reinsurance biz. The company -- one of the world's largest reinsurers -- reinsures life, health, property, motor, and liability insurance. Swiss Re has targeted its asset management services to small and medium-sized insurers looking to outsource their funds management. The company helps insurers identify, assess, and manage their overall risk; in addition, it conducts and publishes scientific investigations relevant to the industry. Swill Re also sells straight property and casualty insurance products to corporate clients. While Swiss Re is active around the globe, its activities in the US account for some 40% of the company's revenues.
