The company makes screw-in hydraulic cartridge valves and custom manifolds used to control speed, force, and motion in fluid power systems. Cartridge valves offer a general purpose floating design that is unique in pressure capacity, reliability, reduced size, and installation. Sun Hydraulics' valves and manifolds are used in myriad industrial and mobile products, including construction, agricultural, and utility equipment, and, to a lesser extent, in machine tools and material handling equipment. The company operates through subsidiaries and distributors in the US, UK, Germany, Korea, China and India. The Americas represents 45% of sales.
