The not-for-profit system serves the residents of the greater Akron, Ohio, area through five acute care hospitals and a whole slew of other health care sites. Together its hospitals are home to nearly 2,100 beds (those include its affiliation and management agreement with the 150-bed Robinson Memorial Hospital). In addition to general medical and surgical care, Summa's key services include bariatric care, behavioral health, cancer care, emergency services, surgical services, and women's health among others.
