The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration runs three centers for the treatment and prevention of substance abuse and for mental health services. SAMHSA also has programs for disaster preparedness and recovery, children's mental health, school violence prevention, and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).
