Standard Parking wants to be a driving force in the parking industry. The company manages about 2,200 surface and multilevel parking facilities for airports, hospitals, hotels, local governments, office buildings, retail centers, sports venues, and universities in more than 340 cities throughout the US and in Canada. Its airport facilities consist of parking and shuttle bus operations at more than 60 airports, including Chicago O'Hare and Dallas/Fort Worth International. Overall, Standard Parking provides more than 1.2 million parking spaces. In a sweeping move for the parking industry, Standard Parking agreed to merge with Central Parking Corporation, one of its biggest rivals, in early 2012.
