The largest health care facility in the tri-state region, St. Mary's Medical Center is also a teaching facility affiliated with Joan C. Edwards Marshall University School of Medicine. St. Mary's Home Health Services administers care for patients in a six county area in Ohio and West Virginia. Services include IV therapy, and occupational and physical therapy. The medical center was founded in 1924.
