St. Bonaventure University is a private Catholic liberal arts institution in western New York. With some 2,000 undergraduates and about 650 graduate students, the school offers about 30 undergraduate majors and 30 graduate programs. A group of Franciscan friars live on campus, and the university is the home of the Franciscan Institute, which conducts research and education on the history, spirituality, and intellectual life of the Franciscan movement.
