It may get you in the mood on race day, but it's probably not best to speed on the Pacific Coast Highway on your way to Speedway Sonoma's Infineon Raceway, an automobile racetrack in the Sonoma Valley of Northern California formerly known as the Sears Point Raceway. The 2.5-mile track hosts NASCAR, National Hot Rod, and American Motorcycle sanctioned races, among others. Aspiring amateur and professional speed racers can also partake in driving lessons held at the track and offered by Jim Russell Racing Schools.
