Company Description
Smurfit Kappa Group (SKG) is a world boxing champion. It is the #2 producer of corrugated boxes in the world and a top maker of graphicboard and containerboard. Business is divided into three segments: Packaging Europe churns out containerboard and transforms it into corrugated containers; Specialties Europe caters to targeted demand for solidboard and bag-in-box; Latin America includes forestry, papermaking, as well as paper sack, and corrugated and folding cartons. Most customers are in the corrugated container market, 60% of which are in the food and beverage, and household goods industries. SKG owns 330-plus facilities in Europe and Latin America, which generate in some 11 million tons of product annually.
