Skanska USA Civil builds some of the world's largest cable-stayed bridges. Part of the US operations of Swedish engineering and construction giant Skanska, Skanska USA Civil focuses on infrastructure projects throughout the country. Along with sister firm Skanska USA Building, it is a market leader in the New York area, where it has worked on the Brooklyn Bridge, the AirTrain light-rail system, and Roosevelt Island Bridge. It builds roads, tunnels, and rail systems in addition to bridges and industrial and marine facilities such as power and water filtration plants, gas-treatment plants, and dry docks. Projects have included the Meadowlands Football Stadium and Boston's Central Artery.
