It also offers logistics support to help wireless providers acquire new handsets as well as to facilitate the process of customers returning handsets. Signal Holdings' asset recovery division works to retrieve handsets from customers who have upgraded or disconnected their wireless services. The company accomplishes all this using five call centers and two logistics and repair locations. Specialty insurer Assurant acquired Signal Holdings in 2008.
