Ready to show some mercy to the ill in Mercer County is Sharon Regional Health System (SRHS) serving residents throughout northwestern Pennsylvania and northeastern Ohio. The not-for-profit hospital has some 250 beds and operates a network of about 20 outpatient clinics. Specialty services include behavioral health care, cancer treatment, home health and hospice care, women's health services, rehabilitation, and speech and occupational therapy. As one of the region's primary health care providers, SRHS has had to work to keep up with patient demand by opening a new $2 million diagnostic and imaging clinic, expanding existing facilities, and adding new care programs such as its Cancer Genetics Program.
