Sesame Workshop produces the Emmy Award-winning children's show Sesame Street which is distributed by PBS to public broadcasting stations throughout the US. It also creates such shows as 3-2-1 Contact, Dragon Tales, and Ghostwriter. A not-for-profit organization, Sesame Workshop receives funding from sponsors such as American Greetings and McDonald's , as well as from government agencies (US Department of Education ), foundations, individual contributions, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting .
