Scailex Corporation scaled back but -- hold the phone! -- is starting up anew. The company in 2008 sold its minority stake in an Israeli-based oil refinery through subsidiary Petroleum Capital Holdings (PCH). Concurrent with the sale, the buyer Israel Petrochemicals Enterprise sold its majority stake in Scailex to Suny Electronics, which now owns 64% of the company. Scailex then bought parts of Suny's Telecom and Dynamic businesses. Suny Telecom imports and markets mobile phones and accessories and is the exclusive Samsung distributor in Israel.
