Company Description
When it comes to safety valves, it's always better to be Sabaf than sorry. Sabaf manufactures nonferrous alloy components for household gas cooking appliances. Sabaf straddles three core lines: valves and thermostats for controlling gas flow and temperature, burners (that generate the rings of flame), and hinges for oven, washing machine, and dishwasher doors (produced through wholly owned subsidiary Faringosi-Hinges Srl). Products are made at Sabaf plants in Italy, Brazil, and China, and distributed worldwide, largely to OEMs. Sabaf garners about 50% of Europe's parts demand, and some 10% of global demand from manufacturers of stoves, burners, and ovens. The Sabaf family owns more than 50% of the company.
