Company Description
SNC-Lavalin believes that if you build it, they will come. The group is an international engineering and construction services provider, with operations in some 100 countries around the world. It designs and builds structures such as chemical and petroleum plants, power generation and transmission systems, bridges, highways, mass transit systems, and water treatment plants. Projects include Canada's first liquefied natural gas regassification terminal as well as agricultural land and water improvements in developing countries. It also provides operations and maintenance services, oversees management and financing, and invests in infrastructure facilities. Formed in 1911, SNC acquired rival Lavalin in 1991.
