Company Description
Russel Metals has the power to move steel. One of the largest metal distributors in North America, the company operates three lines of businesses. Through its 62 Canadian and US metals service centers, Russel Metals' primary business is processing and distributing carbon hot rolled and cold finished steel, as well as pipe and stainless steel and aluminum tubular products to the construction, shipbuilding, and equipment manufacturing industries. Russel Metals' energy tubular products unit distributes line pipe, tubes, valves, and fittings to the oil industry. The company also distributes steel products (plate, beams, rails, and pipe) for large volume sales to steel mills and other distributors.
