Company Description
Royal Vopak reigns over a diverse kingdom of oil and chemical products. It is a major player in the storage and handling of liquid oil products, chemicals, vegetable oils and liquefied gases. Vopak has terminals in the ports worldwide, with specialised facilities: product tanks, jetties, truck loading stations, pipelines and access to road and rail networks. The company operates 80 tank terminals, capable of storing a total of more than 25 million cu. meters of liquid and gaseous chemical and oil products, in more than 30 countries throughout the world. Vopak's clients include oil companies, oil traders, and chemical manufacturers. Dutch investment firm HAL Holding owns about 47% of the company.
