The Roehl in Roehl Transport is pronounced "rail," but Roehl rolls down roads, not train tracks. Roehl Transport hauls a variety of freight with a fleet of some 1,800 trucks and 4,900 trailers. Its equipment includes flatbeds, standard dry vans, dry bulk carriers, and trailers designed to carry extra-heavy loads. Roehl also offers refrigerated transportation and logistics services. The company operates throughout the continental US and Canada; however, it does most of its business east of the Rocky Mountains, particularly in midwestern states. Everett Roehl founded Roehl Transport in 1962 with a single truck.
