Despite its background, printouts from Ricoh Production Print Solutions, (RPPS, formerly InfoPrint Solutions), come in more hues than blue. Formerly a joint venture between Ricoh and IBM, RPPS markets printing hardware and software for businesses. Its hardware line ranges from multifunction office printers to high-speed production systems for mailing operations. The company's software portfolio includes print management applications, communication tools, utilities, and document design products. Ricoh bought out IBM's stake in the joint venture and made the unit a wholly owned subsidiary in 2010. In 2011 InfoPrint Solutions joined with other Ricoh printing units to create Ricoh Production Print Solutions.
