Company Description
Regions Financial ain't just whistling Dixie anymore. The holding company for Regions Bank, which sprouted in the South, has grown by acquiring other financial services firms over the years. Regions has some 1,775 branches in 16 states, roughly stretching from the Southeast and Texas northward through the Mississippi River Valley in the US heartland. It offers standard consumer and business services like deposit accounts, loans and mortgages, credit cards, trust services, and private banking. Regions Financial also owns Regions Mortgage and investment bank and brokerage Morgan Keegan, which has more than 300 offices on its parent's turf, plus New York and Massachusetts.
