Company Description
Make no bones about it: when dealing with investment management, Rathbone Brothers has the right touch. It sure has been at it long enough (the company was founded in 1742). Doing business as Rathbones, it provides wealth management, unit trust funds, self-invested pension plans, banking, and tax and trust services for private clients, wealthy families, charities, and trustees. The company has more than £16 billion (some $25.6 billion) in funds under management. Rathbone exited its overseas trust business in 2010. The group has about a dozen offices in the UK, including an offshore location in Jersey.
