Questar is on a quest for natural gas -- finding it, producing it, and transporting, storing and distributing it. The integrated energy company operates through three major units. Public utility Questar Gas, its largest unit, distributes natural gas to more than 905,600 customers in Utah, southwestern Wyoming, and southeastern Idaho. Questar Pipeline operates a 2,570-mile natural gas transportation system and gas storage facilities in Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. Its exploration activities are led by its Wexpro business. In 2010 the company reported proved reserves of 767.5 billion cu. ft. of natural gas equivalent.
