Qimonda has bigger problems these days than in getting people to properly pronounce its corporate name (it's "key-MOAN-duh"). The memory chip maker declared bankruptcy in early 2009 after two years of losing money in the volatile memory device markets. The company sells Aeneon-branded memory products for the channel and retail markets, while using the Qimonda brand for OEM customers. Its top customers have included Hewlett-Packard and Dell , with more than three-quarters of Qimonda's sales coming from the Asia/Pacific and North American markets.
