Company Description

DSL for Deutschland could be the slogan for QSC. Capitalizing on European telecommunications deregulation, QSC is taking on Deutsche Telekom by offering high-speed Internet access via DSL to residential and business customers in Germany. QSC's network extends to more than 200 cities. Although the company does serve residential customers, its primary segments consist of  commercial businesses and wholesalers and retailers. CEO Bernd Schlobohm and supervisory board member Gerd Eickers founded the company in 1999, and each owns 10%; Baker Capital owns about 25% of QSC.
