Company Description
PrimaCom is a cable TV, Internet, and phone service provider in Germany and the Netherlands. Formed by the merger of cable operators Sueweda and KabelMedia in 1998, it's the leading cable provider in eastern Germany and the fourth largest in the nation, behind Kabel Deutschland, Unity Media, and Cablesurf. However, with 170 channels, it's the largest digital cable provider. Targeting smaller communities, PrimaCom has about 1.3 million subscribers (1 million in Germany and 300,000 in the Netherlands) and 15 branch offices.
