Presidential Realty is a real estate investment trust (REIT) that used to invest in commercial real estate, loans secured by real estate, and other property-related assets. Its portfolio included stakes in a handful of properties in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Puerto Rico, including office buildings, shopping centers, and apartment communities. Faced with ongoing revenue declines in the turbulent economic climate, the REIT began liquidating itself in 2011. It has sold some properties and placed other holdings up for sale.
