One of the world's top commercial helicopter operators, PHI maintains a fleet of about 250 aircraft and provides contract transportation services across the US and in Africa. Its fleet is primarily made up of helicopters but also includes fixed-wing aircraft. The company is a leading provider of helicopter transport services in the Gulf of Mexico.In addition to its energy-related operations, PHI provides air transportation services to hospitals and other medical facilities and overhauls and maintains airframes, engines, and components. Oil giants BP and Shell account for about 17%  and 14%, respectively, of sales.
