Holdings include SoniqCast (maker of portable, WiFi MP3 devices), leading instant film and camera firm Polaroid (purchased for $426 million in 2005), Sun Country Airlines (acquired in 2006), and Enable Holdings (online marketplace and auction for consumers and manufacturers' overstock). It has a minority interest in Fingerhut (consumer products via its catalog and Web site). Tom Petters founded the company in 1988.
