Pepsi Bottling Ventures (PBV) makes sure East Coasters get their Pepsi fix. One of the largest Pepsi bottlers, PBV operates more than 25 bottling, distribution, and sales facilities in seven states (Delaware, Idaho, Maryland, New York, North and South Carolina, and Vermont). Its portfolio of beverages includes Pepsi soft-drink brands, as well as Aquafina water, Starbucks coffees, Tropicana juices, Gatorade isotonics, and Lipton teas. PBV traces its roots to 1943, when the Arundel family began bottling and distributing Pepsi with four trucks on Long Island, New York. Today PBV is a joint venture of PepsiCo and Suntory Holdings, and is one of Pepsi's anchor bottlers.
