The nonregulated energy services company, a subsidiary of Pepco Holdings, offers services in energy management, energy-efficiency consulting, "green power" facilities development and construction, and equipment maintenance, primarily for industrial and government clients. Pepco Energy Services provides its customers the choice of sourcing power from green sources (from solar, wind, and biomass plants).The company once provided electricity and natural gas to retail customers in deregulated areas but is exiting this business as well as preparing to retire its two oil-fired power plants (with an aggregate capacity of 790 MW).
